Antifungal
Fungal infections are caused by yeast or mold and common on skin, nails, mouth, throat and urinary tract. Human fungal infections are becoming a social burden, primarily because of the rising number of both immunocompromised and critically ill patients. Polyenes (amphotericin B, Nystatin), Azoles (Ketoconazole, luliconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole), and antimetabolites Flucytosine are some common antifungals in use.
